North Cotswolds Park is in a terrific location. It is an easy 1-mile walk to our local, picturesque village of Willersey with its 2 pubs. We are located on a quiet country road which is also a popular cycle route.
Villages
Just over 2 miles away is Broadway - 'the Jewel of the Cotswolds' - famed for its wide high street, wonderful architecture, and which has a wide range of pubs, shops and restaurants.
The north Cotswold villages of Chipping Campden, Stow-on-the-Wold the Slaughters and Bourton-on-the-Water are all within easy reach.
Warwickshire
Stratford-upon-Avon and Shakespeare country is a beautiful 15-mile drive or a scenic cycle along the Stratford Greenway - a disused railway track. Warwick, with its famous and fascinating castle, is also an easy drive beyond Stratford.
Walks
There are many delightful walks in the vicinity, including to Broadway and Broadway Tower, or to the famous Dover's Hill with its natural amphiteatre and views across the Vale of Evesham and into Warwickshire.
National Trust & gardens
There are many National Trust houses in the vicinity. Hidcote Manor Gardens, Snowshill Manor, Chastleton House and Charlecote House are the nearest. The famous Fleece Inn, a National Trust pub just a few miles away at Bretforton, is also an excellent choice for a drink or dinner. It is an easy 2-mile cycle ride along country roads and bridleways from North Cotswolds Park.
Aside from National Trust, there are plenty of gardens to keep you busy, if that's your passion. Sezincote House and Gardens (the house apparently being the inspiration for the Brighton Pavilion) and Kiftsgate Garden are unique examples. Batsford Arboretun is also the home to more than 1,000 species of tree.
